Summary: | Retrieval of the experience of the Russian Revolution for the construction of an education model. It makes a brief history of educational models up to the period of the October Revolution and retakes the conception of education present in Marxist thought, based on the contribution of scholars such as Manacorda and Pistrak. It points out the bases for the realization of an education beyond capital and exposes the importance of the contribution of this revolutionary process to the model of transforming education. In the same way, exposes how the Russian Revolution was one of the determining factors for the establishment of the Welfare State in the post-Second World War, a fact that allowed the implementation of policies of universal character in several countries around the world. In Brazil, socialist ideas inspired many leaders of the Sanitary Reform movement that led to the creation of the Unified Health System.
