Definitions and criteria for their identification are proposed, the advantages of results systematization in different phases of R&D activity are presented, which in turn sets prerequisites for standardized reporting on scientific achievements. As a result of the research, 108 types of scientific results were identified. These can be subsequently capitalised upon/ validated in different ways. The results of R&D activities have been in turn classified, depending on the publication method (34 types), protection mode (8) and the manifestation mode (47).
