Description
Summary:The article is devoted to the problem of reducing the motivation of the younger generation to sports, physical education, a healthy lifestyle. In recent years, the problem of health and physical development of the younger generation has become aggravated due to the fact that human health has ceased to be the main value in most people. This topic is of concern to doctors, psychologists, educators and parents. And this is not accidental, since now there is a sharp deterioration in the state of health and physical fitness of young people. A high level of development of science and technology leads to the intellectualization of labor and, as a result, to a decrease in physical activity, which is necessary to maintain the health of the human body. In modern conditions, a person mainly performs work in a sitting position. The number of people doing sedentary work is growing steadily. A feature of intellectual work lies in the high requirements for mental stability, prolonged nervous loads and the ability to quickly process a large amount of information. As you know, muscle fatigue is a normal physiological state developed in the process of evolution to prevent physical overload. However, the optimal response to mental overstrain has not yet been developed by nature and almost always, instead of automatically stopping work, causes over-excitement. In the long term, such an overstrain can lead to neurotic changes that turn into stress, which provokes the emergence of various diseases. If we consider a sedentary lifestyle from the point of view of physiology, then it leads to musculoskeletal and cardiovascular diseases, as well as to discomfort in the back and neck, resulting in reduced productivity and quality of work.
