Chemotherapyand/or total body irradiation used as preparativeregimens and immunosuppressive agents (especiallycorticosteroids) used for the graft-versus-host diseasecan cause hormonal disorders. Time elapsed after theHSCT, transplantation type (autologous or allogeneic),preparative regimen choice, age, and gender determinesthe complications. A multidisciplinary management containinga specialist of endocrinology for these patients ispreferred. In this report, we reviewed the endocrinologiccomplications that observed after the HSCT in childrenand adults referring to the recent literatures.
