Summary:It is statistically proved that in production of grain crops, harvesting is the most labor-and resource-intensive. A comparative technical and economic assessment of technologies for harvesting winter wheat by direct harvesting and combine harvesting was carried out. The calculations performed under the conditions of the model economy of the region proved the economic feasibility of updating the fleet of grain harvesting equipment with machines equipped with combing adapters for harvesting grain crops.
