A set of motion equations is solved according to Newmark method as matrix. Physical meaning of material damping is described. The authors suggest the technique for account of different materials in parts of structure. The following example is provided: analysis of structure together with soil and with account of earthquake loads. Analysis results are compared (with and without account of material damping).
