Summary:<strong>The old-style pattern of instruction has been to allocate students to read textbooks and work on assigned problems outside of school, while listening to lectures and taking exams in class. With the introduction of <em>Flipped instruction</em> or a <em>flipped classroom</em> the students absorb new content online by watching video lectures, usually at home, and what used to be homework is now done in class with teachers offering more tailored direction and communication with students, instead of lecturing. Up to fifty percent of the course content was flipped in this study. Results on six of the courses used will be presented and deliberated on.</strong>
