Summary: | This article intends to make a contribution to the evaluation of the bet made by parcels of Brazilian feminisms in participative repertories closer to the State and turned to institutionalization of demands. To do this, the article analyses (i) the creation and the expansion of government’s instances and participative instances that have the task of elaboration, coordination and execution of public policies turned to women at Brazilian municipios; (ii) the relationship between the presence of those instances and the offer of politics to women, and (iii) the kind of associative action engaged in the participative instances of this area of politics. The data come from the Pesquisa de Informações Básicas Municipais (MUNIC/IBGE), and from informations about the composition of the municipios’ councils collected at Brazilian states’ capitals.
