Phenomenology, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the study. The research was conducted with 32 teacher candidates who were studying at Kilis 7 Aralık University, Muallim Rıfat Faculty of Education, Department of Turkish Education. The data were collected through a semi-structured interview form, which was prepared by the researcher and given its final form in the light of the feedback received from field experts (3 Turkish language experts and 1 assessment and evaluation expert). The obtained data were coded and subjected to descriptive analysis. In addition, quotations were used from the opinions of the teacher candidates to support the results.
